Irish Soda Bread
I don’t know much about Irish Soda bread but what I do know from all that I have tasted is that… it is not all created equally. Some recipes are more dense than others, some have a hard crust, some are sweeter, some have raisins. I found a recipe for a terrific, slightly sweet, buttery, perfectly textured (dense and soft) soda bread. From now on this is the bread I will make whenever I make beef stew.
It was such a satisfying feeling taking 4 golden loaves out of the oven. The crowd went nuts for the bread and ate every crumb of it. It is my hope that you enjoy it as much as we did.
