Homemade Deodorant!
This stuff is great! My armpits smell like spring meadows and happiness!
In cooler weather the mixture turns solid but since I live in crazy jungle heat mine will remain liquid.. the A/C keeps it at a semi liquid state. Still…. happy smelling armpits! :D
PS. Ignore the Colgate product placement… they didn’t pay me. Hahaha, as if they would. As soon as this tube of toothpaste is gone I’m going to start making my own. Yay! I have much more room in my medicine cabinet since declaring a war on chemicals in my home. Bonus!

Homemade Deodorant!
Feel the freshness! :)
The Ingredients
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1/4 arrowroot powder (or cornstarch)
- 5 TBS coconut oil
- Essential Oils (I used 3 drops of lavender, 4 drops of sweet orange and 2 drops of tea tree)
The Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together and store in a glass jar.
- You could also use a used and scrubbed deodorant container but as I am trying to avoid plastic I just packed mine into a glass jar and scoop out what I need.
